Our Challenges

We identify challenges such as climate resilience gaps in vulnerable communities and develop targeted programs, like community training and local participation, to address these issues and build adaptive capacity. By focusing on practical interventions and continuous assessment, we help bridge knowledge and resource divides, enabling communities to better withstand environmental stresses.

Real-world story/case study

We worked directly with local farmers to enhance climate resilience by organizing training programs, increasing community participation, and collaborating with other organizations; their efforts significantly improved local adaptive capacity, though limited resources constrained their reach. Similarly, Mercy Corps documents projects across nine countries where integrating climate adaptation into development work has produced measurable improvements in food security and social cohesion for at-risk populations.

While progress has been strong, challenges persist, from climate resilience in vulnerable communities to ensuring equitable access to clean resources. We’re tackling these head-on, with your support.
